Creative Studio is an initiative developed by John Conibear, creative director at Manchester design practice CDA.

CDA is an interpretive design practice working in the arts, heritage and education community. Our clients include the National Trust, NHS, Natural England, along with local authorities and museums. You can see some of our work at cda.uk.com

We work alongside associates with a wide variety of creative skills, enabling us to put together specific teams for specific projects.

Creative education

John is a qualified teacher and a designer with over 25 years experience. He is a passionate ambassador for design and since 2007 has worked with the Ideas Foundation in secondary schools in the north west.

Creative Studio now brings similar creative opportunities to primary schools, using design as the focal point for projects that can incorporate a variety of creative media.
