Cheddar

Like any good small group, ours has a cheesy name – you’ll note, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and enjoy sharing a joke!

Cheddar formed in Jan 2007 and has a mix of people, new and not-so-new Christians, old and young, from both St James’ and Emmanuel congregations. We’re people who value a warm welcome and opportunities to get to know others and Jesus. Our ‘out’ reflects this and varies around our shared commitment to offering a welcome and opportunities to get to know each other and Jesus for those who are new to the church or not yet plugged in to a group.

We loosely try to use a 4 W’s structure each time we meet: Welcome (catching up over a coffee), Worship, Word (we’re studying Acts at the moment) and Witness.
