Godly Play

The aim of Godly Play is to help children become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives.

Godly Play for ages 4-11+
THE DIDSBURY PUB FUNCTION ROOM (OFF STENNER LANE)
This group will use the ‘Godly Play’ approach to children’s spiritual development. Godly Play invites children of all ages to enter into the great sacred stories, parables and liturgical actions of our faith through the use of beautiful and natural materials and captivating storytelling. These stories lead to a time of guided ‘wondering’, followed by response through arts and craft. The group finishes with a healthy snack, some juice and a time of prayer and sharing called ‘the feast’.

The session will start promptly at 10.30am and parents are asked to drop their children off before arriving at church.

Creche for under 4s
THE CRECHE AREA AT THE BACK OF CHURCH
Parents are welcome to take their babies and young children (under 4s) to the Creche Area during the services. The Creche is not supervised, so parents are asked to stay with their children

N.B. Both groups comply with the current stringent Diocesan child protection policy and the adult supervisors in The Didsbury function room will be in full mobile phone contact with the church throughout the session.
