God’s Garage

The group consists of people who have come from the bike scene or associated sub-cultures & people who struggle to fit into normal church structures or who feels that they have been hurt by church.

Ages range from 25 to early 60s at present, but we are open to anyone over the age of 18. We start with pizza and a beer or soft drinks.

We engage in some kind of study, which can range from formal bible study, watching videos or films, listening to music, or guided meditations.

Subject matter is wide ranging, but always centres on what God is trying to say to us in the here and now. This is followed by a time of personal sharing and an opportunity to be prayed for.

We believe that prayer is an essential part of the life of the group as God meets us through prayer. We also have social events at other times. Currently the group is starting on restoring an old classic 70s superbike.
